How the media covers our topic

First, I am going to select the most relevant media sites that cover our topic, from written words to the big and small screen. The three sites that I have chosen are: the twitter account 140 Book Promo, the Real Weird Sisters podcasts and the New York Times online newspaper, specifically I am going to talk about the movie section.

As they say, they are real sisters who shared a common bond for Harry Potter that has brought them close together. Now that they are adults and living in two different parts of the country (Chicago and Montana), they have decided to broadcast their love for Harry Potter to the world by podcasting weekly together about what they see as the greatest literary masterpiece of our time.

I have chosen their podcasts as an example of how they cover a movie adaptation from a book. They have movie reviews podcasts in where they talk about their opinions about the Harry Potter´s books adaptations. You can hear their podcast "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone Movie Review" here. All credits goes to The Real Weird Sisters.

In this section you can find any article you want about movies and that includes news from movie adaptations. I recommend this page because its content is very reliable and because they always have articles covering the latest news in what respects to movies.

As an example, I recommend you to read the next article of the NY Times web: "The Year in adaptation" by John Williams (2014)

This account posts regularly tweets about movies, and they use the hashtag movieadaptation; which is, indeed, very useful when looking for the latest movies and books adaptations in their twitter account. They usually provide their followers with loads of news about the upcoming releases of books, TV shows and movies.
