It all begins with Harry Potter

A long time that the film directors and screenwriters are used to working directly adaptations of literary works. One of the best known and most striking was undoubtedly Harry Potter. And I must confess that this is my favorite saga, never any story had captivated me as much as the one that happens in the world of witchcraft, located in Hogwarts.

Having gone through all my childhood and pre-adolescence, since the Philosopher's Stone until the last Deathly Hallows, Harry Potter behaved itself many of the dreams and desires of young people, including me, makes us believe in the existence of a supernatural world where , through the magic, we can do unthinkable things for any human being like fly, levitate, open doors, transform  us in others, another useful like how to repair and fix objects, but also dangerous as to blow up something that bothers or attack us, kill or torture someone.

I have read the books and saw the movies and, in my opinion, these more visual aspects are always more appealing to the movies, because it brings a lot of audience and success. However, what abounds in special effects, fails in creativity and narrative writing. The JK Rowling's books are more expressive, address the different trajectories of the characters, in a more complete and real way, awaken feelings and conections with the story which movies doesn`t pass, at least in a so notorious way and, ultimately, they tell us about everything, are detailed and doesn`t leave anything to say, unlike the films, which due to the limits of duration, are forced to stay by the sample or at half the potential of this tale, which for more years that pass, will always remain in my memory.

This was my first and primary experience of literature applied to other medium which already had. The books worth much more than any film. And Harry Potter is not an exception.
